LunaProxy’s proxy network went offline in January 2026 after Google’s Threat Intelligence Group dismantled IPIDEA, the residential proxy infrastructure behind it. Google alleged that the network sourced IPs unethically from consumer devices whose owners had not consented to sharing their connections. Why should I choose MarsProxies over LunaProxy? With reliable proxies sourced from devices with explicit partner consent, 24/7 customer support, and all the main proxy types, we are one of the best alternatives to LunaProxy. Our non-expiring residential traffic and flexible plans and pricing make us stand out from most of the competition. Will my existing proxy setup work with MarsProxies? Yes. MarsProxies covers all the bases. We support HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 connections, username/password authentication, and IP whitelisting, so your existing network should work with just about any browser, scraper, or automation tool. How do I migrate from LunaProxy to MarsProxies? Create a MarsProxies plan that suits your workflow, copy your new proxy login details, then replace the LunaProxy endpoint in your browser, scraper, or automation tool with the new ones. Have a few test runs to make sure everything still works as expected, and then you can scale up your order. Can I use the same tools and integrations after switching? Yes. You can keep your existing browsers, scrapers, or automation tools and just swap in your new proxy details. The same setup that worked with LunaProxy will work just as well with MarsProxies. How long does it take to switch from LunaProxy? Simple setups can take just a few minutes, while larger projects may require additional configuration. Our support team is available 24/7 if you need help. Does MarsProxies support the same use cases as LunaProxy? Yes, and more. You can use our proxies for web scraping, data collection, market research, price monitoring, automation, and account management, just like you did with LunaProxy. You can also get mobile proxies if you need genuine mobile carrier connection for tasks like mobile app testing or mobile content scraping. Which proxy types can I replace with MarsProxies? Replace LunaProxy’s residential, ISP, and datacenter proxies with comparable MarsProxies options. You can also access mobile proxies, which LunaProxy did not offer.
