If you seek a Storm Proxies alternative that offers mobile proxies and ISP proxies at affordable, flexible pricing, at MarsProxies, we offer an IP pool that provides all of these benefits. Does Storm Proxies support SOCKS5 proxies? No, Storm Proxies only support the HTTP and HTTPS protocols. If you're looking for an IP pool that can scrape app traffic or efficiently handle peer-to-peer file transfers, MarsProxies residential rotating proxies and ISP proxies are a better option. What types of proxies does Storm Proxies offer? Storm Proxies offer dedicated proxies, rotating residential proxies, and rotating datacenter proxies. How does Storm Proxies pricing work? Storm Proxies is a proxy provider that uses only one pricing model. All of their proxy plans are billed monthly, so you will be charged every 30 days. If you choose us as a Storm Proxies alternative, you can pay-as-you-go, pay per proxy, or get a fixed 30-, 60-, 90 days plan. Is Storm Proxies good for web scraping? That depends. Storm Proxies offer rotating residential proxies, but they do not support the SOCKS5 protocol. They also do not offer mobile proxies, which means you can scrape unprotected or weakly protected sources, but targeting more challenging data will likely fail. Also, users report increasing block rates with Storm Proxies over time. What should I look for in a StormProxies alternative? A good Storm Proxies alternative should offer flexible pricing plans with non-expiring traffic, mobile, and ISP proxies that Storm Proxies lack. Also, it should provide residential IPs in more locations for better geo-targeting options. Can I use my existing tools after switching from Storm Proxies? Yes. In nearly all cases, migrating to a Storm Proxies alternative provider requires only changing the proxy host, port, and authentication credentials. But remember that because Storm Proxies do not support the SOCKS5 protocol, you will have to update the protocol setting in your tools to use it. How do I switch from Storm Proxies to MarsProxies? Firstly, you have to sign up for a MarsProxies account and order the desired proxy traffic. In our dashboard, locate and copy the proxy credentials. Then go to your tool and replace Storm Proxies' host, port, username, and password with our credentials. If you are using our SOCKS5 proxies, remember to choose this protocol in our dashboard.
